The Stephen Braggs Youth Foundation Inc. offers a variety of Educational and Sports Team Development components that will embrace all participatory Schools, Corporations and Special Youth Programs. This foundation will serve as the vehicle to facilitate youth and charitable organizations into the next decade with an emphasis on expanding the individuals true potential and pride in themselves and their surrounding communities. Based upon the premise that every child deserves an opportunity to become a productive citizen, the Stephen Braggs Youth Foundation Inc. is dedicated to achieving the following goals:
- Educational Enrichment through after school tutoring and assistance
- Cultural Enhancement through performing and visual arts
- Recreational Interaction through sports leagues and various team sports
- Personal Behavior Services for the improvement of Human Services and Anger
Management Seminars:
Spiritual Guidance for a truer testament as to who you are. Professional Training in computers, financial budgeting, understanding business concepts and principles all that can foster teen entrepreneurship.
The Educational Philosophy of SBYF: Excellence in Education is much more than a matter of high test scores on standardized minimum or advanced competence examinations. The focus of SBYF is to expand the scope of knowledge and develop the rational, reflective and critical thought capacities of program participants.
We rightfully believe and expect that, upon completion of the SBYF educational program, participants will progress to a higher intellectual and personal achievement levels which will assist to develop fully functional members of society. But more than this, we expect the educational components to be S.M.A.R.T. ( Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely) SBYF views the aim of Education to be an enrichment experience which ultimately leads to academic fulfillment and culminates in the holistic development of the participant.
